John Satino

John Satino, the visionary founder of StemCell SMP®. He is a true pioneer in the field of hair restoration. With decades of experience, John has dedicated his career to helping individuals regain their confidence and achieve remarkable hair transformations. Driven by a personal journey of experiencing hair loss, John embarked on a mission to master the art and science of hair restoration. John Satino has made significant contributions to the field of hair restoration. He served as the Lead Researcher in 1984 for the clinical trials of Minoxidil®, the revolutionary medication now widely recognized as Rogaine®. This groundbreaking research showcased John’s expertise and dedication to finding effective solutions for hair loss.

Following his pivotal role in the development of Rogaine®, John continued to play a crucial part in advancing the field. He worked as the Research Coordinator for Merck Pharmaceuticals® during Phase 1 clinical trials for Propecia®, a medication specifically formulated to address male pattern baldness. His role in these trials exemplifies his commitment to pushing the boundaries of hair restoration treatments and his ability to oversee complex research initiatives.

Marina Pizarro, MD

Dr. Marina Pizarro is the industry’s first female hair transplant surgeon with over 30 years of experience behind her back. She is a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, which has performed over 50,000 procedures nationwide.

Her medical journey began at the Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico, followed by a residency in Orlando, Florida. Throughout her career, her dedication to delivering exceptional care has been highlighted by her extensive multi-state medical licenses, covering Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Michigan, and Puerto Rico.

Dr. Pizarro’s path took a significant turn when she reconnected with the renowned hair transplant surgeon Constantine Chambers. Together, they established one of the largest hair restoration practices.



With five years of intensive training, including performing numerous procedures globally and participating in conventions, Dr. Pizarro embarked on her own practice in 1994. She established her clinic, focusing exclusively on hair restoration for both men and women.

Gregory L. Smith, MD, MPH

Dr. Gregory Smith earned his medical degree from Rush Medical School in Chicago, and a Masters of Public Health from Harvard University. He completed residency training in Preventive Medicine at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Since retiring from the US Army as a Major, Dr. Smith has been in practice in California, Florida, and Georgia for 30 years, initially training on the use of medical cannabis in California in 2000. Since then, he has had extensive experience and education in the field of cannabinoid medications.

Dr. Smith is an avid writer, having published over a dozen peer reviewed medical publications, two medical textbooks, and a novel called “Final Review.” His book Medical Cannabis: Basic Science and Clinical Applications through Aylesbury Press, is a scientifically-based textbook directed at educating medical students and medical professionals on the science and applications of cannabinoid medications. His book on CBD for patients and caregivers is called CBD: What You Need to Know. He is also the author of THCV (tetrahydrocannabivarin) : Weight Loss, Blood Sugar and Blood Lipid Control. He contributed a chapter in the prestigious CRC Press textbook, Antioxidant Nutraceuticals – Preventive and Healthcare Applications.

Most recently, he co-wrote FAST FACTS: Using Medical Cannabis for Opioid Weaning and Sparing with his brother, Dr. Kevin Smith, published through Springer press. Dr. Smith is currently Medical Advisor to Callitas Therapeutics, Sanctuary Medicinals, (US) and Green Mountain Health Alliance (Canada).

Dr. Brett S. Hirsch

Board Certified Hair Transplant Surgeon. Dr. Hirsch’s impressive journey began with his enrollment in the prestigious faculty scholars program at Florida International University, where he excelled academically. Recognized for his exceptional talent and dedication, he became one of the youngest medical students at Nova Southeastern, marking the beginning of his illustrious medical career.

Dr. Hirsch’s passion for the cosmetic field was ignited during his training at Humana Hospital of the Palm Beaches. While he is board certified in family practice, his true calling emerged in cosmetic procedures two decades ago. Since then, he has devoted himself wholeheartedly to the field, consistently enhancing his expertise and knowledge.

As a testament to his commitment to excellence, Dr. Hirsch has undergone extensive training with renowned pioneers and charter members of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery. Rodney Barnett

Certified Trichologist and Natural Health Professional well-known throughout the country, as one of the foremost authority about Trichology. Rodney has helped thousands of clients to regain beautiful, lustrous hair in his 30+ years of practicing Trichology. More than that, with his well-attended seminars, he has taught thousands of licensed cosmetologists to do the same.

Holding a certification in Trichology and Natural Health, Barnett is a respected expert in the field who has appeared on national television and been quoted extensively in magazines and newspapers throughout the country.

He is the author of a book, (available on DVD), ‘Do you run your business as a CEO or entrepreneur’, which traces 30 years of his journey in the Hair Loss industry, as an employee, sole proprietor, general manager, to his present position as CEO of his company, Innovations Today. He also has created over 30 prerecorded videos, that help an aspiring Trichologist to open and run a Hair Restoration Center, to date in Ventura/Woodland Hills, CA., Oklahoma City, 5 in the Dallas metroplex, San Antonio, Houston, Texas, Indiana, Philadelphia, PA., North and South Carolina, Atlanta, Tampa, Mississippi, NYC and Toronto, Canada, with others opening soon.

He coaches established Trichologists, through his Business Development Management coaching program, and monthly sales meetings to generate $500,000.00+ a year, or $40,000.00+ a month.

Available to the press, media and appropriate companies as a spokesperson, Barnett has forged business relationships with medical and naturopathic doctors, dermatologists, nutritionists, herbalists, barbers, and cosmetologists.

He was the first to market stem cell (PRP), in the Dallas area, and provide post treatments after PRP and Hair Transplantation, with his proven multi-therapy approach, which he shares with other Trichologist around the country.

Barnett presently is a lecturer and educator at major Hair Shows, such as the Bronner Bros, Beauty Experience, New York and Las Vegas, Orlando Premiere, etc.
